the comments are so weird? they make the story seem so bad and after i read it, i don’t see the big issue…they thought she was a spy and apparently the whole world hates the fourth order so that’s prob why they mistreated her and threatened her cause they were desperate too but once they realize she’s truly not from this world they apologized and explained. like am i reading it wrong?

at first, i was like yea, tell those aholes they suck for being mean but they were being brainwashed for 3 months and then we still don’t even understand to what extent the plant drug thingy does as it seems like whoever eats it just suddenly begs for “grace’s” attention. so the fact that mc is like fuck all of you after finding out how strong the dark magic is so weird. esp bc it’s so obvious they’re not speaking/acting out of true will. the author is just being so weird and ifl they’re trying so hard to find some way to make the 3 og ml unlikeable that we don’t question why mc hates them. also, her magic is totally fine now apparently so idk why she doesn’t just heal everyone instead of looking for holy water

the art, amazing. the smut scenes, nice. but they just had to make the top absolute trash. and what’s even worse is that he could’ve totally been cool if the author didn’t make him a rapist who forcefully baby traps the bottom bc some of the things he did was pretty sweet and i liked his jealousy loll plus the plot was actually good too with the whole noble family and curse thing. literally the way the top was written is the only thing that absolutely ruined what could’ve been

complaining that she’s weak when she literally says in her first life that she wasn’t able to go against the book bc it wouldn’t let her or the characters have free will. and did we forget she wants to go home. ofc, she’s gna listen to the book so she can go home. and if in your first life, the book made all the rules, why would you not believe that someone’s intentions are not out of their free will but are forced from a book or that the ml is gna end up with og fl again. she only just found out that ml is free from the book. my only complaint is the bad translation but it can’t be helped and it’s still understandable so i’m grateful for it.
ML was a jerk and deserves to grovel but I really don’t believe that he sent her the rope to kill herself. It’s pretty obvious that it was either that one dude who the ML killed in the beginning or it was the yellow dragon’s manager dude or both of them. Cause this all happened during the civil war, and the FL was the ML’s strongest right hand and was in the way. Don’t get me wrong, ML was a jerk anyway bc he left the treason accusations be since he thought it wouldn’t matter but I think the current him genuinely believes FL chose to committed suicide herself and it doesn’t help that she killed herself 3 more times after he regressed. This is def a miscommunication trope which sucks.
Side note: I can see why everyone hates the yellow hair dragon but you have to remember that dragons aren’t like humans and don’t have the same empathy and emotional capacity(at least that’s what I noticed from all stories about dragons). He’s only learned life through the pond manager so it’s rlly only the manager who should get hate. But, with that in mind, I can’t hate the ML bc of this fact. In his first life, he was probably strongly influenced by the guy he killed in the beginning and back then FL prob went with everything to appeal to ML too. ML was never taught about love too. We can see this with the white hair dragon when the FL says she needs to guide her. So, we have to consider who the ML’s guide was. Doesn’t change the fact he was an asshole but I hope the angst and miscommunication gets solved and he grovels enough. So, yes, I’m team ML as long as this all remains true.

She’s literally only into him cause of his dick. which would be fine if she wasn’t acting the way she is. most of the BLs i read, they usually stick to being fwb while one simps over the other or they just make it clear they’re with them cause they have good compatibility. if this was a BL, i’d drop it. and although she does reject the TA’s request to date him while seeing minjae she never really makes it clear to him that he has no chance with her which is also why he won’t give up on her, making him believe he’s end game and just gta wait bc she’s saying things like your my type and i’ve never found anyone else and everything else minjae overhears in that staircase convo which is what rlly turned me off from her. her reaction to his very valid response to everything is what pmo the most especially when she says this wasn’t a conversation you were supposed to hear anyway. i get that she wants someone to be confident of her but after the shit she literally said outta her own mouth, how can she expect that
I was obsessed when this first came out but i feel like after claude finds out she’s a girl, the story gets less interesting :( it feels rushed and super dramatic left and right with no build up and all she does is just cry and cry. claude loses his charisma(for me at least) and they just be arguing all the time. it just wasn’t a satisfying read or something that i’ll be thinking abt for days or even hours it just makes me sad bc i expected more since it was pretty good before the reveal
