Yesss worth the read it’s rly good, Al’s there was a small time skip I think if ab 5 years she was five in the beginning and is now ten or eleven here and im assuming after this arc of winning she will grow older and find out the slave she set free is the prince and then eventually the romance arc. I have a feeling this is gonna be superrrr long so let it marinate a bit longer if u want but don’t discard it bc the romance plot is being pushed back, she’s smart, powerful and witty all great qualities to have as the female lead. I like the lady baby ones much better than the romance ones bc it changes everything from an earlier start point and it’s not as much angst it’s just like “slayyyy queen” the whole time so I love it bc it’s great art well written and I’m not constantly anxious reading it lol it’s rly great

The duke is not Arellyn's father, he is her uncle. Her mother the duke's sister who got married to the emperor (iirc) of another nation but the emperor also is not Arellyn's father. I think it's still unknown who her real father is since her mother ran away from the emperor.
