There are definitely a lot of things which are considered dark, but pale in comparison to other comics like jinx, killing stalking (everything pales in comparison to that i suppose), pearl boy, Pearl boy: ignite the dawn, roses and champagne- and other dark BLs. This one starts out as psychologically twisted and confusing, but progresses into sweet and fluffy (though the transition period in pretty long). Nonetheless, this is a great read! Do give it a try if you can handle it. Mainly consists of assault, but it isn't romanticised in any way, so I think a lot of people find this to be a primary example of a psychological BL. There is imposter syndrome though.

so there’s a rape scene between the main couple in the first chapter (i think.. it’s definitely one of the first ones) and their relationship starts off a bit toxic/manipulative, but it grows better and more wholesome by the end. the rest of the story covers dark topics like abuse both physical, sexual, and mental (not between the main couple, there’s an evil guy in the story) and grooming. but it’s a happy ending

not much has happened so far since theres only a few chapters... but its not toxic. its more of the guide is trying to protect his esper by preventing him from going back into the field by not helping him get back his memories but the esper is getting insecure about it bec everyone says he's dangerous and he doesnt know anything about himself to tell himself that he isnt. also theyre not telling each other anything so yeah and so it spirals frm there

Stop reading it. If you feel like you can't don't. The story is meant to be uncomfortable for a reason and you shouldn't deny those for your own aesthetic pleasing and bubble. Art is to be understood to where it is at its worst before realizing where it is at best.

Its a peak read. Very plot heavy, big on politics, obsessed opportunistic nobles, and trauma, gaslighting, manipulation etc. The mcs and ml are total babes and green forest, but mc has shit parents that tries to brainwash him for their own greed.
