I don't see him as a pushover. I see him as a person that has already come to terms with not finding anyone to love because he thought he was a no namer. Yet here comes this guy, that he likes to hang out with, with his name on the neck and he's for the first time trying out being in a relationship. But he thinks that he doesnt have a name, so he still keeps his distance. I can imagine that when he finds out he's got a name on his body that he's gonna feel betrayed and lied to. I hope not of course, but this is just how I see it ╮(￣▽￣)╭
