Yeah it’s frustrating that she broke things off because of her trauma but it’s clear where the story is going to go. Thematically speaking, he is different from her ex and would help her grow as an artist/individual. She knows deep down that it’s different with him this time, she’s never been this attached before and it scares her because she wants the best for him (and it’s not chained to her). I see where they’re both coming from but this is gonna teach her to not run away from her feelings and what she wants
I’m so suspicious of him. Based off the chapters rn, I feel like his intentions are not genuine and from the beginning I just had the worst feelings about him. It’s weird because we don’t often see what he’s thinking so far. People say that he gets whatever he fancies or sets his sights on, but he probably only sees beckhee as an interesting game or conquest over just a fully fleshed person :/
I’m stressed with how she just told him all her frustrations and life story. Pretty sure he might even use what she tells him against her, but hopefully he’s a good guy. Heave forbid she gains feelings for him and he winds her away from the growth and development she’s undergoing now about how ingrained the patriarchy is in Korean society.

I actually thought most of it was fine until the most recent chapter where they’re blatantly obvious with their feelings for each other. It’s def have me scratching my head if I was a character in the story. LMFAOOOO he’s the definition of a male manipulator and to the parents bringing back souvenirs too …
