My only disappointment in this series is the lack of a relationship with Reynold and Penelope. Not romantic or anything; they just have the foundations for a good sibling dynamic, especially at the end they start developing a bond. They are just fun together.
And since they're close enough in age, things that happened in the past while awful really can be chalked up to two grieving children forced into a familial relationship by a grieving absentee father. Does it make it right? No, but understanding and forgiveness. Plus Reynold is pretty emotionally immature, but Penelope can be at times too, that is what makes them so good together. Plus when you throw the prince into the dynamic the 3 make for a fun idiot trio.
He's handsome but really girl needs therapy. Seriously, and he does too.
I'm glad she finally gets a friend outside of him. Though are they really trying to set up the judo guy as a 2nd male lead? Cuz, ew, no.
