I thought duke esca in a previous chapter said that his family have always had red eyes, which is how he figured out the MC was his biological daughter and how the MC figured out her brother with pink hair was not related to escra bc he didn’t have red eyes. By the manhwas logic, the older brother should have red eyes if he is the biological son of duke escra. Some comments from novel readers have said he is adopted, which makes sense that he doesn’t have duke escra’s red eyes then.

After ch 13 my current theory is that Guwon was injured when crushed by the building in the prequel scene we saw, then he got amnesia combined with possible pre-existing psychopathy or lack of emotions which would explain why he doesn’t know a lot of basic things (memory loss) and seems to “act” or take on different personas around different people (psychopathy mimicry) and seems generally indifferent to people’s feelings, like reacting more out of curiosity than understanding. BUT from Guwon being buried under the falling building in the prequel scene (presumedly dying or seriously injured at least), to throwing up, referring to himself in the third person, lack of basic and societal knowledge, and his white/grey cloudy eyes, which usually refers to a person being dead or undead in media, it seems more like an entity that took control of Guwon’s body before the zombie virus fully killed him or his internal injuries from being crushed fully killed him. It would explain his appearance, lack of knowledge, and the throwing up we saw, bc if his body is dead/decaying, he would presumably have to throw up anything he eats, and I don’t think we’ve ever seen him actually eat or drink anything in the story so far.

Genuine question I get why Agiro was so angry about the direct son inheriting the commander role, but why didn’t he just refuse and partner with Ewan instead? There doesn’t seem to be any “bond” that’s forcefully keeping Agiro loyal to the direct son unless I’m not remembering something?
He's basically a "slave", an object. His opinion doesn't matter, mainly if he wants to keep benefiting from being with those on top. Being the pet of someone above allows him more freedom of speech and freedom in general. However, being below will just allow others to treat him like a mutt.

The only gripe I have with this story is that I thought Haewon’s entire body becoming poison was going to be a WAY bigger plot point. Like I was so excited to maybe see her wipe out a whole group of people using just her breath or sweat or something in like a “gotcha” moment.
Nah fr. I thought she could have poisoned people just by shedding some tears. They also never spoke about she should be worried to kiss, about having sex or even children. Like there was no real turmoil there
I think it's related to her chi...like in that ch if you see clearly ( I might be wrong tho) that while she's bleeding she infuses her chi with it so the leaf burns(?). So I think she can do all the blood poison thing if she wishes while infusing her chi with it. She has been a master of chi from the beginning of the story so that's why I think the story skipped the part about her being worried about kiss, sex and having kids and stuffs
