He's legit the real son. His mom is that Lunamoon/Luminum and his father is the commander, but here's the kicker, that commander is the reason for a lot of things called Chaos, but he lost his memory and became a concept that eventually became the guy we see as the commander, Hayden. His mother gave him his name since he had no real name since he was never human. So he really is the real son and she was his actual mother.
Oh another spoiler on the other version of our MC the one from the Unicorn Nation~
It is him as a regressor; he wanted to escape his father [Chaos] and in order to do so he chooses to regress. So we're seeing another version of him that had lived the world differently then our MC. I'm thinking the way he played the game was how the Regressor him had lived, not 100% on that since I'd need to read the novel.
