I had no expectations coming into this manwha, especially since I was never fond of like historical crap and just want some cute BL. But this manwha is special, there's something so perfect about this, the way it paced out, the way everything tied up together, and how it left me no questions other than being satisfied. The romance, the plot, the art style, the comedy, the complex villain? All of them hit the spot, and I cant ever emphasize how this manwha made me feel like I'm reading my very first BL manwha again,and how special that time was for me.
First of all, I really like how the author introduces side characters and doesnt just brush them off when their arcs ended, they return, even in just a tiny role, they made the ending much more grounded and amazing. This reminded me so much of Ghostly Affection (webtoon) and Guardian with Benefits. Two of my most favorite BL comics of all time, I just cant stress enough how good this manwha is. Everything is explained, resolved, just everything is perfect.
Read it. Its a top 3 manwha, I gurantee you will never be disappointed.
My favorite genre is gaming BL, Ive read as many as I can because theres something so special in conncecting with others through gaming (especially rpgs) so I marinated and binged this, and honestly while what other people said is true, that the romance is kinda sidelined, it didn't take the joy away from reading it.
This manwha focuses really on the game, as liks 75%, at first i was like sad, but honestly this made me realize that the reason I read this type of bls is because of how rich and well thoight the universes of its rpgs are. It feels so realistic and down to earth and funny (necro causing crashes, muskeeter being a weak class but strong in right hands, game devs being game devs) I really loved all the guild members, the plot, overall everything
The romance parts were pretty good, I love how the JJA is very stoic and thoughtful and doesnt like act impulsive and realistic unlike these recent bls ive read. He is actually just a certified gamer, and sometimes I see myself in him. healteaser is very cute and suprisingly ominous and times but the way JJA pats him everytime is sending me. It has that hint of bromance but at the same time you know its romance? Like, they just dont jump straight to "omg hes patting me does he like me omg ugh ugh~ sex"
I could go more, but overall a very worthy read, especially for gamers like me!
Im so glad it all came full circle. That ugly ass fucker got what he deserved. I really loved the characters, even the side characters were memorable.
Although one thing that took me back a bit, though in a good way ig, was how clingy Andrew was, and how down bad he was. All in all, veryy goog read. Although not my favorite bl, its def at top 10, esp the artstyle def made it more special.

Like yeah it was goog the way it handled homophobia in Christian churches and acceptance and all but like... I feel like this comic was way too.. i dont know the term but woke??? Modern?? Idk if the term i use is right but it felt like those two words, or perhaps influenced by those two words. Typical BL comics are usually more grounded and realistic, this was obviously comedic so I get some part that icked me. I dunno, it was fine I guess,maybe Im just not woke enought to relate to the MC. Its still a solid read but I skipped chapters after ep 36 since it kinda wraps the whole story arc, the next chapters are about the trauma of ML (which i honestly just skimmed). I wasn't really interested in both of them, i was invested at the start but lost interest up until ep 36 exactly. Thats all, TLDR:
