Damn i loved this but i lokey dropped it twice cus of the unnecessary rape at the beginning. Like i get that was his character just being an ass of a rich police officer who could do what he wanted cus he had power. But he’s character changed so much that him at the start of the story and at the end was way to different. Also the story went from a story with romance on the side to romance as the main part and obv i loved them together so its fine but what about his police job? Wasn’t he a detective? What happened to the gang leader? They never tracked him down like i thought that was the plot of the story but it just got forgotten. Instead we had the main guy stressing that he was gonna come back and take his man. Like do your job and track him down? Idk i didnt get that part its like after he got stabbed the story got really different. But that aside if i ignore the rape part cus again they like talk about it twice and it didn’t really feel like main guy was feeling that much remorse or anything he was just like hit me like what he was so selfish at times. But yeah if i ignore that part it was good and i loved the slow burn it was really nice and it was nice that the selfish cop guy had to do the chasing:3 also side not i wish they talked more about him murdring a guy?? Like what why didn’t he go to therapy for that or anything he was just looking ruff for some weeks then it was over like that part got brushed over way to quickly
