I do. I've been searching for dom/top mc and I can only find so few. And when I tried to read it guess what, it contains rape! (the bottom is raped by the side chara, not the mc). So fucking sick of authors romanticizing nonconsensual sex. Imo, since most of bl stories are made by females who prefers to write something they can self insert to so they made the mc a bottom. And yeah, it's most likely cause theyre not familiar with making a top as an mc, they can't really make a top mc and it's not popular like bottom mcs

I understand what you are trying to say. Everyone can have their own choice of preference, but it is wrong for them to say what the author should have done. In my case, if I don't like something, I simply move on to the next one (except if I really want to criticize something).
the problem is we don't even have a lot of BL with the top POV for people to complain about; it's always the bottom that should have a harem or bunch of people fighting over him. like why is everything supposed to be made for you (I don't mean you )? True, it is rare to see MC to be top and his pov. That's why I really loved "The Third Ending " where we got to see MC pov and he was also top there. Hopefully we will get more manhwa with tops as MC.
