He didnt get reborn into a new being so it won't sit right with me if there's romance in this. Like man, everyone's his grandchildren at this point
Take a note that I used to read murim genre with no romance and imo this one is not one that has no romance at all. But for first stage of story the romance is died down for the MC rapid development to make stable allianc3 but there are some events the MC looks caring. Idk if the romance will developed later on after the MC n his fiance feel ready to accept each other. And yes, for first 45 ch, the writer consistently points the MC is the old man because the plot is still lingering around his past subordinate or people he knows.
