One thing I know about stories like these is that the author can't get a boyfriend because of their unrealistic standard so they created stories like these because why is the FL had never done a single reasonable thing to make the ML actually falling in love with her? It's only just "She's not like other girl!"
The ML be yearning tears and blood for the FL, fight for her, go against the law for her, and the FL only just be a good-for-nothing. Like, where's the yearning from the FL? Y'all only want the prize when y'all never actually fight for it.
And don't even talk about the obsession with the badass FL, most of them just come out like a rude brat. At the end of the day, the FL still can't do anything without the ML or even the SML's help, especially in the historical manhwa. And also with the oblivious FL, like, you can't even realize that those hot men are in love with you?(this is for you, Sooae), look at their normal behavior in front of other girls who are not you, you can't be that dense when you're reading romantic novels in your previous life. Like, you're in a story and you know it yet you can't even recognize the pattern? Skill issues.
I have problems with the ML too. Why are they so boring? All they have is look. Their personalities are all the same, cool, phobia of women who's not the FL, rude to everyone who's not the FL. Yeah, one word to describe it is Tsundere. You're a grown ass man, act like one.
And the fact that most manhwa/manga are like this nowadays.
