i honestly believe the reason he told his cheol’s dad that he was gay was so his parents would disown him and he wouldn’t have to worry about being abused anymore/not as scared to be seen as gay. thatttt or it was to isolate him. either way i think the goal was for the parents to be out of his life. otherwise i have no idea why he would do that, but if i think about it like this it’s kind of romantic…in a way…. the real question tho is why did he think he could do that and not get cut off? maybe the answer is just delusion, or autism idk.
why do people keep calling this miscommunication and saying they need to communicate? there’s no misunderstanding? they both understand what happened pretty clearly (at least from what i remember). juheon is just stubborn and is putting dohu’s safety above his own happiness, and im pretty sure dohu knows this. dohu even explained clearly what happened and how he felt about him in chapter 78. i think juheon is either pretending to not believe him or is genuinely just that wary. either way, this isn’t really a communication issue in my opinion, it’s more like a self worth and distrust issue .
