That was kinda of the beginning premise. After that she struggles with does she want to stay or leave this place, but she’s always scared she’s going to disappear and her friends will forget about her. Then stuff happens in the middle. And now she’s looking for a permanent way to stay.

Sorry guys I jsut read the last chapter cause I was highkey marinating this so I don’t know the plot n only read it cause everyone was freaking out in the comments but it seems like they’ve been here before and it obviously ends with them dying together but here r my theories (1) experimentation — someone is creating clones/undergoing simulation and running SOMETHING knowing it ends the same way but is trying to change it for the sake of something else (2) time loop — somehow everything is reset for just mc and ml as with the evidence in the canyon. But it’s only MC and ML, and no other bodies seem to be present besides these 2 characters.
My questions are
1. Does this mean the “apocalypse” is fake and this environment is being controlled by outside interference?
2. MC and ML clearly have ended up in the same situation hundreds of times. Why? What is the significance of these two characters? Does the time loop reset when they both die?
3. If there is a time loop or simulation what is trying to be achieved by having ml and mc reset multiple times??
This is jsut by the last chapter, I actually dropped this 20 ish chapters in to finish reading the rest later but damn I missed a lot anyways I’ll update after rereading
