Good story. I enjoyed it regardless of the unhealthy relationship they have. But that mangaka assistant reminded me of something i am often contemplating over, when reading manga:
What is this in manga with people not reporting to the police when they get threatened/ assaulted/ raped? I mean, i know that victims tend to not report to the police even in real life but i haven't read it even once. And in yaoi the victim is often saved by a friend or love interest. Shouldn't that person make a report or try to at least encourage the victim to report. As far as i've seen, this is not even considered in manga (regardless of genre).
How about an uke reporting the seme who raped him and finding love with a police officer?? This is something I'd love to read. (This would be even unexpected since we are kind of used to the uke ending up with an aggressive partner, as yaoi are often themed with 'rape leads to love'.
Anyway, that's just my individual opinion. If someone knows a yaoi where the violet main character gets substituted by an executive officer, I'd glady read that XD or just a story with an unexpected change in love interest. Thanks in advance
I think main reason not to report is that they are men and no one takes them seriously considering how old this manga is definitely guys assault not taken seriously back then especially on Asian countries, or either they feel shy to report to police and brush it off.
I like the aesthetics. Also, Hisashi is just freaking adorable! He looks hot and fierce but is actually a little honeybunnysurgarboo cutiepie >w< i just love this kind of character/appearance-combo. But where is the *?? XD i was really waiting for that! Well, i still enjoyed the story very much. However, it was difficult to have a natural flow when reading the story, as there were often way to many small texts squeezed in one panel. And this side story regarding Kanda and chii(?) was just making me angry. Minority complex on one side, possessiveness on the other, manipulative, aggressive and disrespectful behavior all the way through - AND they still call that love. Nope, please just let them find their luck with someone else. This won't work out
Beautiful illustrated story with a nostalgic, heavy feeling to it. It's slow paced, what helps build up the atmosphere of that time. Given the period with it's restrictive social norms, Laurents behavior is realistic and Arthur's act of resigning of his land and title to go after the male servant of another manor is quite a scandal. Carel, as the master of that manson can be seen as the protector of those two, as he allows them to be together under his roof far from peering eyes. I enjoyed the story. Although I do understand the little frustration one can get as a reader, for the desicions which are made, as lots of us are used to the quick paced progress and 'i don't care what others think, let's just be together'-attitude in most other BL/yaoi. But then again, the historic setting has to be taken into consideration.

I don't get it at all :/ i have so many questions unanswered for each chapter that i couldn't really enjoy or even understand the stories. For me, this is just a collection of porn without plot (which is nothing bad if you look for these kind of yaoi, but i did not). The drawing style is intense though.
The last one was a one shot with a story behind but I enjoyed quite a few of them that had a plot
The starting hatter story is cute, but i am just addicted to the human trafficking story (even the art style changes completely)! An amazing emotional rollercoaster. The dynamic of the three is more than just a simple romance- the three of them are one and can't breathe without each other. I can't wait to read more!!
I am looking for a certain yaoi and can't find it anymore. Maybe you guys know it. What I remember is: three friends from an orphanage where they sell children; one of them was sold, the other two try to find him over the past years. For that purpose, one of them became a police officer and the other one some influential businessman. But when they find their childhood friend, they find out that he got sold to a brothel and now is a killer as part of the yakuza. There is no way for them to provide him a 'normal' life after all what happened, so the two decide to become corrupt themselves. Because they don't care about good or bad, or even other people. Everything they do and did so far was for the sole purpose of getting back together. It's not a romantic yaoi but more a dramatic story where these 3 people identify as 1 and have to be with each other just to be able to cope with reality.

Yeah. I actually read it bcz of the main couple but the plotting was really good.
If you search Canis it will show up. Canis is the main story but The Speaker is the second one. (Author is Zakk if i remember correctly)

At first I was really against this 'love' as it's just a result of a massive stockholm syndrome and let's say it bluntly: igen was a big a*$#&;!, but I am ignoring the massacred families, the slavery, the torture, the humiliation and oppression and therefore I was able to enjoy this 'love-'story. Lot's of heartache, intrigues and political schemes made it very interesting. But I wish there was more plot regarding the king x caesar couple. Also I really liked the female characters at the end of the story
I wouldn't want someone like Hina being involved in investigation should something ever happen to me. The first chapter was ridiculous- what police officer thinks that getting a handjob forced on onself by a stranger/colleague is part of the job???? Sorry but that's clearly sexual assault. Hina should definitely repeat police school.
All in all it's a nice story but nothing special.
The love between those two seems also only to be bound to Hinas innocence and Yasos quirk to toy with others. I don't see any other deep connection or romantic/emotional development.
