The beginning of the father-daughter relationship was already off when she used her powers to change him and it doesn't get better. I feel like the dad can never solve problems by himself and all his accomplishments feel fake because of Chaerin. They also never explains Chaerin’s unbelievable attachment to him either. I kept hoping it would show some of her past without him or discussing dragon lore but its been a stale repetition of a problem cropping up with the dad and Chaerin just using her powers to blast it away. The whole world feels 2dimensional. The more the story progresses the more I feel as if they’re stuck in a kid’s storybook
Was he planning to keep her captive for life? When she got back on her feet she would have to step outside eventually, he’s just delaying the inevitable. Unless he wanted her to sneak off like a thief alone （￣へ￣）
