The whole week following up to this chapter I was like “I hope it doesn’t update just to be a hiatus”
This story could’ve had so much more potential if it was fleshed out more first there was the meeting between the two main characters as kids that was meant to establish the hierarchy in their ABO world and their relationship, but then it just ended up falling lackluster?? And it held little to no significance later on in the story it was just like nobody gaf and then there was that whole beta bully turning into an omega and getting raped?? It felt so counterproductive in a sense and like, ofc I didn’t expect chikage to save the dude but also like, in a story about the mistreatment of omegas we’re gonna have a character become an omega and get raped as justice?? and then the introduction of that dude who groomed and preyed on chikage was such a great explanation of how chikage became so hopeless but on my GOSH it would’ve been so much more effective if it was fleshed out more, and then the dude got no punishment or anything in the end like?? And then the main character is genuinely such a nothing burger like he claims to wanna help chikage so much but it’s like his personality is to be liked so much that he couldn’t even achieve that!! It’s like he’s so scared to go against chikage but if he loved him so much he should literally help him out whether he wants it or not because chikage is lowkey mentally ill!!! Like dude was a victim of child abuse, being basically imprisoned his whole childhood, and a victim of pedophilia so like!!! Help a dude out!!! Like he was so nothing burger like atp what was he but eye candy idk this story had so much potential it could’ve been legendary if it was longer, imo it being 7 chapter limited its capabilities so much
