When Ilic discovered the will he actually got pissed of about the content and also because he has some regrets from the period when Sa-Yan was really sick like 10 years prior to this timeline. [I won't spoil the reason has it's the main point of next chapter] (But basically most of what was shown in the dream was real except the death of Sa-Yan of course and the pig stuff but wait for next chap for this it's funny).

Yep post sickness it’s been 20 years. Basically he was sick and wrote the will in the chapter you saw. Then I guess he got better, don’t know how. Then time skip 20 years happens, everybody is now old. Suddenly, iliac has a nightmare about sayan dying to scare the shit out of readers lol but they are alive and old/grand uncles to the little girl
In the next chapter it's said that they have been together for 30years in the current timeline (when Ilic wakes up from the nightmare), we saw in this chapter that Ilic discovered the "Real testament" a few days ago and got angry about the content so he used Sacha as an escuse to get out of the Palace to avoid Sa-Yan
In the next chapter they talk about it and Ilic remembers that Sa-Yan got really sick in the past and he was making testaments everyday. He then they that this testament was something way older and hab been written 20 years ago at the time he abdicated in favor to Leisa.
For me the Duke got seek not 20 years ago but around 10 years ago because Leisa is Emperor since a while now they already have 3 kids with the Empress which isn't the case 20 years ago as it's around the time of the summer festival and the god of slaves cosplay. Also Ilic and Sa-Yan look older than they are portrayed 20 years ago but yonger than they are portrayed now.
