That is honestly the worse way to find out that not only your son but even your husband is like betraying you behind your back. I feel so bad for Hyesung, as a kid he was abandoned by his own mother and left with his abusive father, then to Dojin who basically got him pregnant while Hyesung is literally having a life crisis. I understand Hyesung’s feelings during the pregnancy, like he didn’t want it, he doesn’t even know what to do with his life and suddenly he is going to give birth. But, sure he disappeared for awhile, but Hyesung came back and atoned his mistakes by treating and raising Byul with full of love and affection— One that Hyesung never received as a kid. Byul seriously?… Byul knew that his mom’s damn mother abandoned him and his first thought was how his mom is no different and wanted to abandon him as well. IS HE SERIOUS?? Like be for real, he doesn’t even know THE WHOLE story yet he is already jumping to someone’s side. I can sort of understand Byul still wanting to be in touch with his grandma for whatever reason, but Dojin? He knew the whole story, the whole trauma that Hyesung went through not just from his father’s abuse but also from his mother’s abandonment, why the hell is Dojin still keeping in touch with his damn mother? Literally no respect to his partner (Coming from a man who shows how he is so in love with Hyesung but even then showed no respect to Hyesung who wanted to never be in contact with his mother— That includes his family, Hyesung wants NOTHING to do with her.)
At this point, I just want to give Hyesung a hug, the people he trusted the most just broke his heart. He really needs a break, like a huge break.

I am honestly just giving this manhwa a chance but gosh the FL is just too annoying, I get the guy is having a hard time with physical touch but rather than getting mad about it why is she not understanding that there might a cause behind it and as stated in chapter 25, he is having a hard time to trust her (Which is fair because they just met and suddenly got married), the fact that she knew about the ML’s life due to her past knowledge, literally no sympathy and social awareness at all. This isn’t just with the ML and the prince but also with her maid. She is getting on my nerves so much. I get that the ML has more to lose if he doesn’t marry the FL BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN THE FL HAS NOTHING TO LOSE EITHER. She is literally marrying him to protect her sister so why the hell does it feel like the ML has to always adjust for her? The ML is trying his best to fix things and the FL is just casually talking about hanging out with the prince. In chapter 25, her saying that to ML in the cherry blossom viewing was literally crazy, cause seriously? You have an image of a ‘wedding couple’ and she is saying that?? I get respect woman’s relationships but still, come on man, people are still suspicious of the marriage and she is already out here arguing with him and going complete oblivious of the whole issue.
She hardly knew anything about him even with the prophetic dream? She didn’t even know what his face and first name were. Her past knowledge really only let her know about the will, which is why she sought him out in the first place.
I think the cherry blossom thing is more like this isn’t because it’s the first time he’s brushed her off, and he keeps doing it in public. Even if he has trauma they’re in the same boat and she staked her family’s life on this agreement. So of course she gonna be pissed. Not to mention she just drenched her in public, when they’re supposed to be showing everyone their Marley in love, and won’t even explain why even vaguely. Every time she try’s to bring things up he brushes her off. She can’t be expected to walk on eggshells all the time, like it or not he’s gonna have to tell her if he wants to keep the arrangement going on. Especially since it’s effecting their public image.
Objectively speaking the prince thing is weird (so so oblivious to it), but he’s the one who always makes the point of them staying out of each other’s personal lives. So it’s a bit hypocritical of him.
That’s not to say MC is without flaws. She definitely is too self absorbed, but she has started to reflect.

Probably one of the stories where I didn’t have to suffer through tons and tons of chapters to actually see their relationship develop. I LOVE THEIR RELATIONSHIP. And honestly I love how both of them work together cause fck the emperor and his annoying spawns.

THEY SKIPPED SOME PARTS FROM THE NOVEL. IT LITERALLY SHOWS HOW CLUELESS CHASE IS TOWARDS DIFFERENT TYPES.
Anyway, it finally begun, their never ending obsession towards each other, they are honestly wild and unhinged now. But reading the novel is so much better because it js more detailed and has some important stuff that was being left out in the manhwa.
Did the artist for this story changed? If so, is there a reason? I mean the art style still looks good but the art of Season 1 really matched the vibe of the story so I was surprised when Season 2 updates came cause Diarin and Ceres’ face changed
