Ya’ll expecting someone who has been thru YEARS of abuse by her own family much less her father, and THEN marries a man who has shown and allowed her (in his own ways) what love is and how she gains strength from it…you expect her to just get over it all? Her father was caught in the act and now he needs to pay for it. Of COURSE Maxi doesn’t want war, they were literally just in one. She doesn’t want resources and people wasted on her. Ya’ll continue to just bash and hate on her but she’s grown so much from the first chapter. She isn’t gonna change herself in an instant but damn…be nice. Stop complaining.

Imagine coming from a home that didn’t want you and treated you like a complete inconvenience and doesn’t want you to exist. Then you find someone who has given you joy, love, and shown you what it’s like to be needed…like ya’ll expecting Maxi to not struggle with these feelings due to so much miscommunication. Maxi didn’t know she was even pregnant. She also helped to end the war which people seem to forget about. Maxi is learning and growing as her own person stop treating her like she’s a waste of space.
