So the plot is like the purple hair tall guy is an idol and it starts with him coming home with a little guy to screw, but then sees his lover and is all toxic to him. The story is pretty much him being super toxic and abusive and eventually mc that likes him gets over him, and now ml is chasing after him.
He confesses to him on stage when he’s performing, risking his career, and lover boy is all upset.
I think he traps him in a villa on an island too? Then mc hates him even more

i feel like their personalities just did a complete 180 in like 2 chapters. like read from the beginning and then fast forward to the current chapters and they’re not even the same people atp. like how are you gonna make jk the most inconsiderate and brash person and then all of a sudden hes this big considerate softie that realizes “wait! ive been treating him so bad! i like him so much!” it was just too abrupt, like there was no transition- that goes for both of them. kim dan was kind, big softie, didnt have a lot of self respect, and all of a sudden he realizes in like one instance that hes been treated so badly and he gains self respect and hates jk? when just moments before he was all over him, no self respect, not standing up for himself. there was no gradual shift for either of them. anyways. dropping.

I'm sorry... But are you reading the story with tiktok slides? JK's change was anything but sudden. We've literally watched his mindset shift the entirety of season 2. He's softer with Kim Dan now, but he's still a tsundere and can't be honest about his feelings/motivations.
And Dan doesn't hate JK or even implied that he did. he still has low selfesteem, and we see this in the way he approaches work and even how he initially responded to JK asking him back. He literally said this chapter that he just wants to exist in the background. Does that sound like someone with selfesteem???
And when was the last time Dan was "all over" JK, that was literally before he gave him the keychain and JK cruelly turned him down.
If you're going to read with your eyes closed, then dropping the story will be the best.
But also, seriously... Why do you all feel the need to announce when you're dropping a story. It's a little insane, you know.

i dont rlly get why it seems like you feel attacked by my critique? its fine if you enjoy a story, but dont be upset if other people whove read the story (yes, i read it from first to latest chapter not tik tok slides..) have issues with the pacing. all opinions are valid. anyways. i looked back and skimmed over the story again, to see if id change my mind (taking what you said into consideration) and i still stand by what i said. even if the author was trying to paint it out like jk is having this whole internal conflict or whatever and him realizing he misses dan, its just so out of character. he treats him like shit for the longest time, showing 0 consideration for him at all, doing things purely for himself, and after deep ‘internal reflection’ he just starts treating him better bc he realizes aha! i… miss him…! thats just so dumb. it really was abrupt. and yes dan did suddenly grow a backbone. he was all over him in the way that he was being treated like a dog and he prepared a whole confession and bday gift despite that. and when jk threw the bday gift, which is typical for how hed been treating him, dan has an epiphany moment and just cuts all ties? when hed been raped over and over, used, thrown into a pool when he cant even swim but throwing his gift it just a no-go? when before he was literally at his beck and call do whatever for him. read it back maybe. anyways dropping lmao
