I don't want the uke to end up with either option. I like the mafia boss as a character, but he IS a horrible person, just in general. Even if he cares about the uke, he's a murderer, and you can't really redeem that. But I hate Jun so, SO much. He doesn't show any remorse, or act like he was at fault. He isn't sorry. He told the uke to kill himself when he was already suicidal. I don't care if he was young. He told someone who loved him to DIE because of his PRIDE.
If he'd grown in any way, he would have been torn up about what he'd done, but he still sees himself as some victim. I hate that the uke cares about him or wants him back. I just want Jun to suffer. And yeah, I know everyone is either in love with Jun or in love with the mafia boss, and I'm probably gonna get a ton of downvotes, but I would seriously prefer an ending with Jun losing the uke forever after falling in love with him again than an ending where Jun doesn't earn forgiveness but still gets to be with the uke.
Thanks for updating the correct translation! The chapter is much more satisfying now. I realize the context was completely off in places before. I hope we can get better translation for some of the previous chapters, too. I love this, even though I'm hesitant to get invested. Not sure my heart can take a sad end here.
Oh my god, THANK YOU. Thank you for fixing it, whoever you are? It was a weird, disjointed mess, missing tons of pages and making it unreadable. Since so little of this mangaka's stuff is out there, I really wanted to read what she DID have available, and this was such a disappointment.
But finally someone fixed it! The first few chapters should just be deleted. The new upload has the entire manga, it looks like. I haven't finished reading, but from what I've skimmed, it seems to all be there.
Hey, you're very welcome!! Although I just fixed it and the scans aren't mine. I felt like it was a shame that it wasn't properly uploaded because I also love this author and smells like green spirt has been my top 10 since forever. This manga is more of a comedic take and pure crack haha it wasn't a boring read for me personally but of course it doesn't compare to their other one.
Oh about chapter 1, it's actually the main story in full without the extras and because it's composed of "acts" instead of chapters it felt weird to upload like 11 chapters of just a few pages so I uploaded it all in one I left chapters 2,3 and 4 as they are because they're extras and were completely and correctly uploaded.
I think the point is that neither of them know who the original is. It was her turn to be Ruri, so she's Ruri. From the start, they saw themselves as interchangeable. And now she can't be Hari anymore, so she's lost her sister in more ways than one. Very strange and sad little story. I know a lot of people disliked it, but I thought it was interesting.
I'm only on chapter 22, and I'm just not sure I have it in me to continue. I knew this was gonna be a mess, but I hate pretty much every character. I also hate how the MC is chasing after that weird, spoiled brat too. Why did you even have feelings for him? He's possessive and short-sighted, incredibly selfish, and completely uncaring about anything other than what he wants. If he weren't completely obsessed with owning the MC, he wouldn't have given a flying crap about what was happening to him in that house. And yet MC is all teary and desperate, like he's losing something incredible. I guess when all you've ever known is abuse, the abuse the chokes you with a smile on its face seems tolerable.
