It felt draggy so I had a hard time finishing it but it's a nice read to pass time. The romance between the leads wasn't necessary and I really hated whenever the witch and herman had screen time. The witch is portrayed as the victim ,altho that maybe true but she knew fully well what she was doing, being a pushover was her choice and the consequences were the results of her choice so it doesn't justify what she did to his descendants ,so freaking annoying and herman you can go f yourself, you're stupid in the head and that was apparent. Fuck the first emperor and the Fl's father, men are all shit. The ml was quite bland and nothing extraordinary but his devotion was nice . I wish Selma and Johan ended up together, it kinda hurts.
