I think people are forgetting the fact that if Mil doesn't fight back (kill Linden), he will die at the hands of his brother, Linden because, as it is mentioned many times in the manhwa, he wants revenge (killing house Childe, who basically killed his mother and sister, and the more prominent parties who support him like Mil, the 3rd prince). There is no peaceful ending to this and it's hard to talk abt it let alone convince Linden not to do it as it is a sensitive topic. Lise will probably find a way to resolve this tho she is the story's heroine after all lmao
not really linden once said that if mil gave up then he will let mil live, but obvsly only mil bcus his family killed linden's family but linden is willing to let mil go if mil gave up bcus theyre brothers, so basically if mil doesnt fight back then he wont die at the hands of his brothers like u said but mil doesnt want to give up and wanted to fight back
It’s cuz Mil is too kindhearted he knows the evil his mother and uncle did but they are his family and he said that he can’t just leave his family to die but also doesn’t want to fight Linden so really Mil will die at the hands of Lindin. UNLESS FL BIG BRAINS IT AND DOES SOMETHING OTHERWISE I SAD
Ah my bad I forgot that. Mil would prob still feel really guilty for not saving his family members bc if he didn't participate Linden probably would've already carried out his plan or he would feel more inclined and less hesitant so Mil must participate now and kill Linden first so his family doesn't die.
But the thing is Mil can’t kill Linden no matter what. It’s basically a suicide to fight Linden but at least he tried protecting his family
