He’s going some minor antagonist that’s going to try to make Momijikawa his latest punching bag at the suggestion of the long haired guy at the end. That guy was beaten up by Momijikawa a few chapters an ago and wants revenge. He’s just bloodthirsty and likes the thrill of beating the shit out of people, especially those that are weaker then him. He’s a grown ass man fighting kids, probably cause he’ll get his ass kicked by people his age. The first years are probably around 15-16.
My guess is Momijikawa is going to let himself be beat up cause those guys are going to threaten his grandma. Sakura and the rest are going to save the day and help Momijikawa realise how wrong he was about Sakura. I doubt they will be best friends, maybe their relationship is going to be Sakura and Sugishita.
think of the worst ending you could possibly fathom, and it's still not as bad as this one is.
it's not often that a sports manga main character plays a defending position, but oh my god, this one is insane. got me hyped for U21 football. every araki block, tackle and foul has me jumping. i just love it when you can tell a mangaka knows the sport they're writing about

I really like the ending, but it was all too sudden....gauche and grey are dating????? gaja and loropechika got married??? yami and charlotte are married???? charmy and rill are parents??????? mereoleona has a partner?????? we don't even get to see asta in action as the wizard king????? you can't end it like that, wtf????? a 2 year time skip after a 6 month time skip???? hello?????
I most definitely feel the same way but honestly I will take what I can get even though it's a bit rushed
same, to be fair there has been (much) worse, lol. even if it's not long though, I hope we get some sort of manga/anime sequel that gives us a little more about what happened during the time skips
