He's doing the sexist " for her own good" trope and I don't like it. He needs to get his head checked like how can he think this would work and what does he possibly expect to get out of this.

R u talking about the duke & diathe? Coz if so, i don't think he did that coz he's sexist. He's just stating facts right? We didn't know if diathe can protect herself & since his army is already busy w/ the crown prince, cain's betrayal, & rino's kidnapping, they couldn't spare their soldier to protect a noble..it'll hold them back coz protecting the noble would then be their priority instead of the actual mission.

I agree with you when you say that Diathe might get hurt but not with the fact that Edward just assumed that she isn't strong and didn't even give her a chance, he also mentioned "men's domain", now that's something that if Rina heard, she'll probably break up with him. Why did Rina pretend to be a guy, because guys underestimated girls. Even after finding out that Rino is actually a girl, his mentaloty still hasn't changed. Diathe may be a burden but that doesn't mean she doesn't have good ideas of her

oh no I was talking about how cain somehow deems it his decision on how the fl decides to live her life. As we have seen from this chapter cain knows that the fl is a girl and that she chose to still stay as a boy and stay with Edward but instead of respecting that decision he chose to just kidnapper and take her away for her own good. He then justified it with love. I'm just saying that his actions are really gross and I don't feel any sympathy for him even though he is heartbroken and on that if he really loved her he would respect her choices because he doesn't own her, she is not his pet, and he is no into way related to her at most their relationship stopped at friendship. It's just really disgusting that he thinks what he is doing is right and has the " its for her own good mentality"
