I'm telling you guys now, there is no redemption arc done. No character development only rape, torture and more cruel shit. The so called, 'happy ending' everyone is saying is MC just getting use to his situation cuz the constant torture basically numbed him. I remember seeing all the novel spoilers on TikTok saying that Yevgeny (not even Zhenya, they were referring to him with his full name) and how he was going to have the biggest redemption arc known to man, how his character development goes hard, and how he becomes the greenest flag. I immediately thought they were all delusion so I read the novel. They were in fact delusional and LYING. He is at BEST a slightly orange flag at the end. I remember someone saying he no longer raped taek joo when he moved to korea. They are all filthy LIARS.

All are hot in their own ways, the writers are the bad ones for using rape as a way to make the couple get closer. There are so many ways to proceed the story but rather than using their brain they just put a rape scene no matter how well the couple's chemistry was developing, its just bad writing at that point, and to make matters even worse they try to justify it too with seme's bad past. Yikes.
