Actual mind games, actual plot twists and shady characters. Hate the op characters mc where they are trying to make a million dollars or reinvent capitalism. I find these stories realistic since they deal with trauma and desires and how they can be exploited and hopefully overcome.
Also side note I already now what that crazy father tried to do. Considering in his mind she looks so much like her mother.
As for the step mother, if she was smart even though her bio daughters are the priority she should be trying to get on Mikaels good side and manipulate Anastasia to continue to support the family even though she doesn't love her.
I usually like to the the og couple regardless of what happens. But I know its illogical but not letting those twins call her mom and they not calling her mom made her seem like a breeding tube in their life with them. I do not want her to go back at all.
Im usually a main lead truther regardless of if he is a red flag or terrible. However I dont like how he treated river like the help the entire time including the kids not even recognizing her as their mother calling her river. So I dont feel bad for any of them lol.
It actually has a good plot. And I like that they started in love but real problems are keeping them apart.
Too many stories the girl aint even interested in the beginning. So really we just watch as two people annoy each other into compliance. At least with this story she liked him first and he was just jaded. Then we had the angst of the religious trauma and social hierarchy and being another species. I know others are like girl stand up and blah blah blah. But I feel like im the only one enjoying the story for what it is. Very few people are the utmost righteous and strong willed as modern media want us to believe. So at least in this story I can believe their internal struggles that keep them from being a couple and all the reasons they are in between the line of love and hate. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I would have accepted any ending. Back together, run away with the nice guy, or just straight passing away together idk
I think this has the right amount of initial attraction mixed with the awakening of their sexuality without being overall enemies and annoying, if that makes sense. Cuz I hate when they just hate each other for no reason this one is more teasing while the ml gets to realize he is failing in love slowly
I like how he is a good brother and accepts his half siblings. But its not fake like those stories were they all love each other it has different opinions. Even the sister although sweet doesn't recognize her half siblings
People complain to leave the male lead and hope he isn't end game but this is the exact niche dynamic I eat up but it so hard to find since its unpopular
Its like they trying make me mad. He didnt want to be with him so Skylar had to work hard to be friends just dor him to change his mind again yall trying to tick me off. I like about 80 percent of the story. At some parts Skylar didnt deserve him but then near the end Skylar deserved better smh
I was never really mad at anyone and the writing was good that I was actually feeling g emotions for the couples that were not the main pairing. However, the very end was liem no I want the gangster wait never mind I dont want either. Like huh!?!? I can understand it if it wasnt for the fact he was risking his life at points and professing his love to the other lead at other points. So I think that's what makes people a bit disappointed.
There are only very few moments I can predict the plot; the rest is a non stop steam train full throttle. I am so captivated by the story. Everyone is complex and interesting and even the father who wasnt badly written but the least of my interest has come to the forefront in the last chapters perfectly.
All I know is I can find no escape from the cycle of violence for these characters but in the after life, if there is a place of peace for their damned souls.
Why is he looking for a job? He had a job in the first story. Why is his dad mad at him when he wasnt mad when he was a bad husband before ? Im confused. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Never boring always something new and impacting. Even the dissociation chapter was amazing. The separation arc is chef's kiss. And it makes sense why he needed to go. Where other stories it's just insecurity this one is actual threat to his loved and makes perfect sense why he felt he had to go.
How is it every other episode their favoritbility level max increases. Idk I get confused. Also how did Kayden and the other lackey die mc pencil from main character but then she secretly see them in the street chapters later and it says she still making side hustle money. Also there are parts that is a bit choppy since I can tell they skipped a fleshout book event to continue the story. But if anything that happens very rarely and more of the story flows very well.
You can't get attached to no one introduced cuz next think you know that are unalived ! That being said great story so far and actually look forward to their slow progression.
How do I say this ? How he gonna say he happy another man asked him out , and you keep being this him? I usually always want the couple to stick it out and I love angst in my stories. But this ending left me confused why they would continue, he still sont want to have sex with her and now I'm convinced he is gay .!
I respect this cuz I'm tired of reading about couples that annoy each other and in turn annoy me.
Also while it's a bit awkward that they so casual about her having a boo thing on the side, I respect that this story is trying to incorporate some of the metaphysical emotions of the original spirit of the host body.
I understand and can see the character logic in everything that happened so far. By character logic, I mean I see why that character did that for what that characters motives and personality is. Except why would won go for the older one if he wanted jisu. I am stick stuck in confusion. Although I do accept that won would not be free from the tutor if not for jisoe (I spelled his name wrong the older one)
