Ykw it took me a LONG time to get into this manga, I saw lots of things about it but honestly if I didn’t already know that dorothy was going to end up with ethan, i probably wouldn’t have stuck through to the end. Why?
Because the story-telling is so realistic, like of course she would still be hung up on theon for fucking ages, of course she would want to be with him, of course she’s still gonna be an asshole after being a tyrant in her last life. It’s reminiscent of the feelings I get when reading NTR, I probably would of been rooting for her to get with theon had I not already know who the ML was and it would have ruined the story for me, had she ended up with ethan instead of theon.
So many of the stories on this website use the tyrant or villain trait very loosely, where the main character doesn’t really have the characteristics of a villain and very redeemable from the start. I disliked dorothy from the start and still kind of dislike her, I feel like she’s quite a selfish character and things just kind of worked out for her in the end.
HOT TAKE, I don’t think she deserves ethan, I mean she literally forgot he existed and the promises they made when they were young because she was hung up on theon and then suddenly she loves him? I don’t buy it.
I do actually like this manga, it’s well written
I hope that when the previous emperor saw his precious empress in the afterlife, that she slapped him square across his ugly mug.
Considering the amount of sexual-esc scenes, you would think the author or illustrator would just go all the way and just draw the R19 scenes.
Especially considering that the whole book is called teach me desire?? like what? they bang like every other chapter too.

The FL really confuses me, she knows the original timeline where the ML LITERALLY DIES from loving the original FL, the princess, so why on earth does she want them to meet and fall in love?
I mean i’m confused about her intentions here, she hated the original novel because the ML was killed off like he didn’t matter and even wrote a whole new novel because she hated the ending that much.
Idk she’s not coming off as smart as she thinks she is.

I’ve definitely read manga and manwha where they can and do have children together, i’m not sure if that’s the case for this story though. The conversation after ash’s rut when he knotted lyle, he was like he’s never considered children because he didn’t want to be tied down, and then he gives lyle the key to his house.
This really threw me through a loop because i came to the conclusion much earlier that they couldn’t have children together. I am just super confused, would not hate the two of them having children but like don’t wanna get my hopes up.

Correct they put all the blame on the woman if they could have a child or not as well as if the woman couldn't give her husband a male heir she was also ridiculed. Today with science we know that its in fact the husband who's sperm will decide if the baby is a male or female not the mother.

The fact is Henry's male heir that he did have died young and it was his daughters that ruled the nation. His first daughter Mary died from a horrible disease likely stomach cancer. Her younger sister hated her father sooooo much that in fact she never wanted his personal bloodline to rule after her. Its why queen Elizabeth stayed single and had James her cousin appointed as king upon her death. So in fact it was Henry's elder sister that the bloodline go thru. yeah I realized after I hit enter that it was really that he wasn't able to have male children... none that could not survive that is due mainly to an inbred blood disease that ran amongst Europe's royals, but even the female children were not that many (considering how much he f'd around) and not all that healthy. But the main reason Elizabeth didn't have children is that she didn't want to marry and have a husband "rule her" becoming king and ruler and her having to take the "consort" spot. The ending the legacy was the cherry on top.
Bottom line is the failure of siring heirs and specifically male heirs was with him, but the wives were the ones that were getting tossed out or beheaded.
So I thought ameri was only meant to be like 1-2 years older than the rest of the main cast but this is showing that she was born when all the teachers were like 6-7 years old? essentially when they were all still kids. Meaning that she’s closer in age to the teachers than the students? yet she’s still only about 1-2 years ahead of the main cast in the school system?
I know Ameri calls her self a “big girl” but i thought that was literally describing the fact that she is bigger than most demons, especially iruma, not her ACTUAL age.
I’m sure the author will talk about how exactly ameri’s blood works and how exactly NO ONE on the previously 13 crowns spilled the beans on her origins (I suspect mind-control/ mass-amnesia caused by sullivan). It seems to not fit in great with the current storyline where the bad guys are going after iruma because he’s human, imagine what they could do with a half-human!

supposedly iruma is 15, ameri is 17 or 18 most, then the teacher was like 24 or more. i think it's an average age for a teacher

Based on what I read she should be around 16-17 but take this with a grain of salt.
Idk about your country but most of asian countries (including Japan and mine) just need to finish bacholers degree and get teaching certification to be a teacher, so even a 21-22 year old could be a teacher already. And this is a fictional world so maybe they don't even have university hahaha kalego could've been working as a teacher straight after graduation for all we know
i think it’s the same in my country, idk it just seems like the teachers are much older than the students? Could be wrong there, but especially kalego, I couldn’t imagine him being only a few years older than the main cast
