He's too cute....I might have to drop if they make their dynamic any cuter...

But setting the timeline for his last memory being the cafe misunderstanding. Low-key it's kinda juicy. I know this is sooo going to drag.

So seeing this thought process outside of myself is truly humbling. Avoiding confrontation by focusing on a huge project to prove his affections, and that he deserves love is so goofy. The amount of mental hoops he jumped through to put off rejection for later has sobered me to my own actions. I'm going to go feel rain.

Normally I'm lapping up the angst like it's ambrosia. But "you keep asking questions that aren't important"!? WOAH let's back up now!!! I feel like a wound has been reopened and my pearls have been clutched.

This is some of the best angst I've had since I read dance with the devil. I've never been a fan of redemption arcs mainly because they never really made sense/ and were really abrupt and came out of nowhere. But the fact that the story starts from it, while the mc and the readers are unaware is just . The best part is that Ido himself is aware that he doesn't deserve it, and was setting everything up to let go of Sejin. I think the thing about redemption/forgiveness is that it isn't owed to him. Even though he loves and now has done alot for Sejin. Sejin would have every right to leave his ass in the dust.

For the most part he does as he comes to terms with his memories, and it feels so real for him to be upset. As he's coming to terms with it he comes into his autonomy, yes he has some dark history and yes he helped him in this lifetime. But shouldn't he have the right to make his own decisions about who he wants to keep in his life? AAUGHHHHH THIS IS SOOOO GOOD.
