I hate everyone in this story; the only good character is Michael, and Cassia treats him like a doormat. Cassia is utterly selfish, and despite Michael confessing his feelings for her and her reciprocating his feelings, she decides to leave him to become a painter. Cassia’s ex-husband is an absolute douchebag who treats her like a stranger, and his eldest son also treated her like shit, and then he moved out as a kid just so he wouldn’t have to be around her.
