I fucking love them, I don't usually give 5 stars to manga as of late but this definitely did deserve it. It's amazing and I hope to see more chapters int he future.
The lest one just sucked. The character development was too quick and they didn't even fall in love. It was just like

I don't see anything wrong with falling in love with someone because 'it works.' The guy was lonely and wanted someone to be with him. He thought the cupid was the most beautiful one he ever met. He probably fell in love at first sight. What's wrong with that?

Because the love wasn't shown in the manga. The pace was also too quick. If they turned this into 3/4 chapters then they could develop the characters better and actually show the love. It took them to the very end for the seme to show any attraction to the uke. The uke hated humans but then he agreed to work for that guy right away. Like no, someone who had this much hate wouldn't agree so easily.

This manga is amazing. It points out all the things morally wrong with the omega-verse. The treatment of omegas is discussing, they get treated as less than human and are only allowed to achieve next to nothing in life. I'm glad that our system is not like this. I also love the fact that the couple in this story seems to be trying to overcome their assigned roles and try to have a normal relationship even if they don't completely realise that they love each other yet.
The pace of the story was off. This is why it hasn't reached it's full potential.
In my opinion, they had some kind of a relationship, either friends with a slightly sexual relationship or boyfriends that never confessed to each other. This caused a misunderstanding between the two of them as one of them thought they were dating and the other one that they were just friends. The one who thought that they were just friends was the kidnapper and the one who thought they were dating/sex friends is the uke.
The uke proably did it with the kidnapper (forced himself on him) in the warehouse as a teenager since we can see that he is all over the other guy in the flash backs. Then they stopped being friends and the uke felt so bad about it and regret it so much that he erased it from his memory. The kidnapper was depressed and felt betrayed so he ripped out multiple pages out of the book where he wrote of the uke as his friend. During the years this memory stayed in his head which made him change from a sweet, shy, cute boy into a cold, cruel, sociopath. The uke remember about this event and hated the uke for it but inside his heart he was actually in love with him and didn't realise it. The fact that he remembered how the wearhouse looked shows us that this memory is forever stuck in his head since this is where the rape happened.
This is just my little theory. I haven't read ahead so im not sure. Im unsure about the details but I'm sure about the rape thing and the staying in his memory thing for the kidnapper.

Update: The new chapter made me change my view. I don't think it was forced sex. If they did have sex it was consensual. However, the uke (who was the seme at the time) just did not give a fuck after the kidnapper got injured somehow. Honestly, I don't think the injury was caused by the uke since the kidnapper wasn't mad at all after the injury. I really enjoyed the new chapter. I would write more but I got a lot of exams and not a lot of time.

While I totally agree that it'd be nice to see more switching, I don't think this is a fair one to bring that discussion up on. We see them have sex *once*. For the majority of their relationship (as shown), they're celibate. Because Meguru isn't willing to sleep with a *child*, roles be damned. As for body types, I think a large portion of that is simply that Kei *is* still a teenager. The majority of them just *are* still growing. And even if their frame has finished, most haven't filled it out yet.
Meguru doesn't seem opposed to being the uke, but it's probably easier on both of them for the more experienced partner to take the lead for the first time. What will happen later, who can say? Based on the personalities, though, I find it unlikely they wouldn't switch things up and try new things. Kei is a far cry from a doormat.

I saw him as assertive, confident, brash and handsome instead of pretty. just because he wore a skirt and had long hair doesn't mean he was feminine. the author depicted them as equals iand Keiichi felt like a normal boy with his own personality with no feminine stereotypes.
