And it makes the point of character development hazy. The main couple is okay. The father - son problem is... disappointing. The second couple is a romanticised version of stockholm. To each their own, though, this was a mess for me.
It irks me a bit that the way this came off to me was that the author used drag as an emphasis to being gay. Given that it wasn't even mentioned again on the later chapters. That doesn't sit well with me. The side paring felt more fully developed than the introductory protagonist.
