MAN this story reminds me sm of my first love I was in the exact same position as her, had the biggest crush on my childhood friend for like 4 years. He was popular so he had many other friends but I was his best friend that was a girl at the time. Never confessed as I would always see him fall for other girls that were the complete opposite of me. He never even saw me as a love interest lol just a really good friend. Sucks I do regret many things they eventually moved away but I got over it eventually

I don't know why EVERYONE who reads this story just sweeps everything Layla DID TO SHIN UNDER THE RUG??!?!? like she could GO TO JAIL FOR what she did up to like 10 years, their age gap was almost a decade, and for what because she's pretty because the things that Layla did with Takumi transcend what she did? She also has her sad backstory but honestly, she was the one holding herself back, she always knew Takumi could never love her the way she wanted him to but still persuaded him and when she did have sex with him she was pissed? Honestly, Takumi also took part in keeping Layla "pure" like a child not knowing the outside world although I do see it as a facade she puts up it still is a big and true part of her. Just wanted to rant about how people can like and pity a fucking groomer and sex offender she and those other vile women stole Shin's childhood and future. AND DONT EVEN COME WITH THE BULSHIT OF JAPANS LEGAL AGE IS 13-16 Like wtf that is not an excuse Shin was mentally a child, he was 15 she was in her mid 20's. She also knew it was wrong? she would always close her phone when he sent a message and someone was around, she never talked about him with her bandmates who are the closest people she had. He already had his issues with his family and then later gets groomed by Layla. His perception of love is ruined. I just feel so bad it is horrible what happened and people could give less than a shit.
