Jaehyuk really said, “either people know I’m WITH you, or I’m not.”
I can respect both sides of the relationship. Garam doesn’t want it to be public, not just because he’s all too familiar with what comes with being openly out but also what it would do to Jaehyuk’s reputation. In his eyes, Jaehyuk still only looks out for Jaehyuk.
On the other hand, Jaehyuk just wants to have a relationship like anyone else. He doesn’t care about the consequences that may come with it bc he just wants to be with Garam. But his behavior is both immature and boarderline obsessive.
Garam: handled that whole situation immaturely, completely moving out seems like he really doesn’t care what happens from here. Easily could have just stay somewhere for a couple of days to cool off. Sometimes his hesitation towards the relationship does seem like a lack of caring in general
Jaehyuk: handling each situation recently half heartedly. Yes he compromises, yes he finds solutions quickly but, he never actually listens to how Garam really feels, he just “solves the problem and thinks everything is fine. But the reality is that the “solutions” he’s making are unrealistic to keep indefinitely.
It’s terrible but I honestly think they need to break up, have a longing arch, come back together. I’d like to see Jaehyuk become more experienced and understand of his sexuality. And I’d love Garam to step back and see what Jaehyuk really adds to his life or even gain the confidence that he only seems to have when he’s behaving irrationally. Then sit down and have a real conversation about everything.
Not to mention he originally said during that call that he’d keep it a secret if that’s what Garam wants and why he left
Literally, he will give up everything for Garam. But that’s not a healthy relationship, especially bc he just throws it in Garam’s face about how much he does to make it work.
