ik it was author's intention to be left like that. but as far as I've seen before the timeskip, Taichi's never look at Touma beyond of that of friends. Yes, the story's lesson is about how life is a series of choices with no certainty that it'll go your way or not. But please, I beg some lick of development between them. We got a nice decent buildup of love between Futaba and Taichi. But anywy, the author is alr aware with that so I respect their decision with the story.
My favorite part about this is the open communication between the adults and teenagers. It's so nice to hear their point of view—there is no wrong or right.
I think they ended up together though? Based on how masumi’s husband said he admires their relationship and the ring on taichi’s finger + touma’s last name being ichinose I think they married

I knew they were married since i heard the spoilers, but i did not like the timeskip since it didn't align with how taichi's feelings were portrayed for touma in the pre-timeskip. i wish to see just some few pages of HOW those two got together and what led it.
I am happy they were the endgame but I'm disappointed of how it was executed.
