I'm glad I'm not the only one who find's the bottom's character annoying. The story could've been really good but the author really had to turn it into whatever this thing is. The only thing I could say about the bottom's behaviour is that he's selfish af. The only greenflag in this whole manhwa is everyone else except the bottom. At least the side story is better...ig. I feels bad for the top. Had to deal with the bottom's dad being unreasonable and having to deal with the bottom's selfish and childish tendency on to of everything.
I took the liberty to read the novel. When people said qinyu gave his eyes to liqing only for him to take the eyes of some slave...ig it wasn't as bad as what they made it seems to be? He went to war while being blind. Ofc the only logical thing for him to continue the war-(bec there's a lunatic tryna claim the emperor throne cause he thinks he's the true royal by the heaven decree) is to unblind himself by taking another pair of eyes of the living. And the eyes that he took weren't just from "slave". They were a death row prisoner. I'm guessing that in exchange for their eyes they were exempt from the death row. Not that he grab some random slave and forced them to give up their eyes for him. And he gave his eyes to liqing while liqing was still being manipulated by pei xingxue. And at that time both liqing and xingxue were married to eo and was witnessed by qinyu himself. Not that I'm excusing the ML past actions but...well they live in a dinasty where one's life is easily replaceable. The redemption ark for qinyu I'd say hmmmm they're okay. More than okay ig bec qiling stabbed qinyu in the battlefield with a dagger thru his chest. Which drove him into despair. But it didn't kill qinyu for some reason lol. But yea long story short qinyu did kept his promise that qiling were the only one for him.

Honestly why is this so draggy? And the latest chapter where Jace acting like a spoilt brat and endangering both of his and the duke's life...I thought he were supposed to be smart? It's very appalling the way he's acting the whole time. Author could've of wrote something about the dude's who kidnapped him receiving his punishment or whatever but no.
