It said he never paid attention in sex class cuz it didn't apply to him, same w/ irl since again, it didn't apply to him. Well, in that story it was also a reverse omegaverse, where he "died via a car accident, ofc" and got transmigrated to a non-omegaverse and there were no inhibitors and no alphas so.

From the spoilers I've read (I'm also reading the novel), he liked Maxi even before they got married. He even told Maxi that he heard that a knight sneaked in their estate before (I think he was that knight). LOL.
But Riftan has a short temper and he normally gets mad first before talking it out so most of their fights would be because of that. He was pissed (or frustrated) because he thought that she didn't value the marriage because the knights he sent to escort her to their fief were turned away by her father.

I don’t think he was ever angry at her, just really frustrated with himself. He thinks that she is an elegant noble lady that came from one of the richest households so he has a bit of an inferiority complex because he can’t provide as much as her father. He doesn’t know that she has been abused by her father her entire life and has always been treated as inferior to her sister. (She also has an inferiority complex, which is pretty obvious)
