I honestly didn't know where the story was going to go, but man the last chapters hit hard. I understand thinking about death constantly, to the point where you no longer have normal life goals like a dream job and having a driven passion.
I'm so glad that he has someone that cares about him and express how greatful he feels that he's alive. Life is hard and having someone who tries to understand you and what you went through can go a long way.
