Everyone in the comments say he’s kind of shady and a yellow flag because sometimes he is cold to karlyle but in my opinion it’s juste that the story is told in karlyle’s pov and his pov is kinda non reliable + he is a seriously insecure man who always doubts eveyone even himself…
The story is really cute and one of my favorites, you should give it a try !

He is a green, we just only have karlyle’s pov, and his pov is so unreliable. Don’t forget that he also doesn’t speak much and Ash is always trying to read between the lines, and as he sais he’s not a mind reader.
Also in the manhwa a loot of details are glossed over compared to the novel. Especially when they have sex.

I just wanted to add that showing a little dominance in bed is not sa IF the partner doesn’t hate it of course. That was what the manhwa glossed over. Because in the novel we are constally reading karlyle’s thoughts and he does not hate it.
Yes he feels uncomfortable at times because he is an alpha and being the bottom and feeling pleasure from his ass is like a humiliation for him because that’s whan an omega does. And being knoted but another alpha is againt all his instincts BUT he also feels a great deal of exaltation and pleasure by this at the same time because it’s with Ash. And i find that this here was not properly conveyed in the manhwa as the novel does.

i'll speak for myself here when i say karlyle being "unreliable" imo is only an issue if you expect pov characters to be perfect at explaining everything (which isn't realistic) or u get like really sick of slow burn (me tbh before reading dtr). i dont think its right to say he is an unreliable narrator at least in the manhwa just cuz his narration being incorrect in anyway is not something that is being done to confuse the reader (which unreliable narrators tend to be regardless of if said chara does it on purpose or not), he just thinks way too hard </3

i think the manhwa wanted to do more showing and not telling (probably so they could show freaky gay sex cough- and also because karlyle himself internalizes his feelings very strongly, ferry convenient for a comic/webtoon format
what happens in the novel vs the manhwa is only relevant unless someone plans on reading both, theres prob ppl here who havent done that yet (including me

Actually, being an unreliable character is defenetly not an issue in my opinion, because as you said no character is perfect and if I said that his pov is not reliable it was only to explain that we don’t know the whole story and evidently Ash’s pov on why he was behaving the way he did (because everyone said he was not a green)
But other than that, I do think the author wanted to do more showing and less telling and that karlyle internalizes a lot of his emotions, in fact a lot of their fights are a result of karlyle’s insecurities (mis communication ╥﹏╥ )… lol

hmmm.. now that is what i didn't get, i never got the opinion ash was ever sus in anyway, but now that you point this out yeah i think thats more a pacing thing since its slow, id guess thats why he can seem pushy lololol. the only thing ive seen that knocked him off green status i can blame on the writer not him, he is perfect i fear

lyle and ash arent very far off personality wise and they seem so different just based on life experience... it probably adds to how he can seem pushy, hes worth tolerating. It's peak writing your honor.

Of the siblings only the males have their own story.
You actully see the problems of their upbringing in the second extra of the parent's story. In short 4 of them manifested too early, have some serious problems with emotions etc. The parents had problems handling it. The dominant alpha father, Ashley, is also is emotionless but still loves his partner, Koi ( who loves all his children), but that happened much later in his life. And he is extremely paranoid that one them will take after his own fathers and he is also jealous of his own children. After an incident with the children, where Koi almost died, he was no longer allowed around them, only sometimes when Ashley was around. Ashley took rasing them in his own hand, focusing that non of the had to got to jail and being able to move in society, but it didn't really solve the childrens specific problems. The only child who was completey treated differently was Bliss, the only dominant omega in the family.

"Run away if you can"
Nathaniel's is a lawyer and took over the family lawfirm when their father went into politics, he is the oldest son and the tallest, with 218cm. His pair is the prosecutor (mentioned in KMIYC at he beginning, there is a newpaper with a picture) Chrissy Jean, he is a beta. The story is from Chrissy pov. It's mostly about a case, him investigating and about Chris's past which is pretty hard to stomach. Chrissy is willing to go pretty far in his investigation for his cases.
You also find out that Nathaniel has a medical degree and has a pretty distant relationship to his parents aside from work (calls Koi Mr. Niles). He also knows about his grandparents (darkest story so far), that comes up in his interactions with Chris. And Nathaniel also has problems with feeling emotions.

Grayson is a born manifested, so more pheromones and stronger than a normal dominant alpha. He has some serious problems with emotions and him "trying to help" someone is a pretty big problem. He is also the one who reminds Ashley the most of his father, so he most likely had it the hardest.
Grayson's pair is the fire fighter Dane Striker ("Kiss me liar" and should appear here in the next chapters), a dominant omega and Josh's friend form military. He is also promicuous and a bright relationship red flag.
This story happens a few years into the future, were all his other siblings already found someone. It's enemies to lovers.
Grayson was looking for his "fated pair" (like his parents)...for years, always changes jobs (he actually has a law degree, but mainly does nothing and let money work by itself due to clever investments and being a shareholder in some companies (was mentioned in other stories), so doesn't need to work) when he thinks he found the one, but when they fall for him he is always certain it's not the one and leaves ( the ones left even formed a chat group: The Grayson Miller Victim Association). A fortune teller told him "fire" and "big breasts" (he first thought it was a woman, but you need to read his reaction on seeing Dane's chest...he even named it lol). He didn't take it serious, until he was knocked out by the phermones of a dominant omega during a fire.... which started his life as a fire fighter.lol
What you're going to find out is Grayson's crazy life, how he sees and interacts with his environment and the reaction to him, it's often wtf or hilarious. We see how he falls for Dane, see him starting to understand emotions, suffer, manages to change Ashley opinion etc. He has a pretty good character development. And well Dane? Dane's monotonous life is turned upside down. He has to deal with the crazy guy, who at some point (to Dane's horror) claims he loves him all the time. And Dane has some serious family related trauma himself, which affects his life. His social skills are bad, and dating? what is dating?
It's slowburn. And you see a lot of other known characters make an appearence, like Ashley (he is a Senator) and Koi, Josh (it's all his fault lol), Chase, Yeonwoo, Keith, Naomi. Stacy (Garyson's twinsister) at least on the phone, and Larien the youngest daughter. Larien is also pretty crazy, she is wanted by the FBI for embezzlement and has more a less a harem.

"Deflower me if you can"
Bliss's story is currently released. His pair is Cassian Strickland, he is an earl, son of a duke. Their age difference is about ~11-12 years. They first met when Bliss was 6 years old.
Bliss is the only dominant omega in that family. Silly, delulu, said of himself that he is slow (dumb...he kind of really is, at least so far), loves tv dramas/series, already fell in love more than 300 times, reckless...pampered/spoiled by the rest of the family.
You see sides of Ashley O_O...I felt happy for Ashley, but also felt really sorry for his dominant alpha children when I read it, especially for Chase, since Chase suffered the most for being ignored/ being treated as he was treated.
They all care / take care of Bliss, but since Ashley is paranoid and there is the problem with the pheromone stuff, the others later try to keep away or have minimum direct contact, because Ashley would get mad.

After Bliss met Cassian, when the Duke's family visited, he decide that they are friends and spends a lot of time with him. A year later Bliss went to England for a visit, but one night heard that Cassian only spend time with him to have a good connection to the Miller family and talked in a bad way about his siblings (Cassian was drinking with friend, he was ~18 years old back the). Bliss got mad, swore revenge, got food poisoning, and manifested as a dominant omega. He was taken back to the US.
10 years later he saw Cassian on tv and remembered that he wanted to take revenge. Asked first Grayson for help lol, but he was busy with Chase and didn't want to deal with Ashley, so he send Larien. They came up with a crazy plan that Bliss should disguise as a servant and make him fall in love, and then make him suffer, like in those tv shows. The next problem was how to get Ashley to allow him to travel to England. But Ashley found out that Larien visited Bliss behind his back, and decided to send Bliss to England, so his other children have time to find their pairs before having contact to Bliss again. So Bliss is now Cassian's servant Blair (Bli-Bliss), although Cassian is aware from the start who he is.
Cassian suffers from insomnia since Bliss left 10 years ago. (It's possible, since he spend time at Bliss's bedside when he manifested, that Cassian probably started to mutate to an alpha, but is still a beta.)
This story started 2 weeks ago, so it will go on for some time.

"Kiss the scumbag " also belongs to this universe, but is not part of the "...if you can" or "Kiss me..." series, but iirc Keith and Nathaniel have s short appearence, and Yeonwoo is in the extras. The daughter of the pair later is a friend of Spence.
They started adapting it to manhwa, it's on mangago.

For "Desire me if you" (Grayson x Dane) a manhwa adaption was announced for this year.
