Gorgeous gorgeous art style aside, i love stories with an introspective character whose path to redemption isn't linear. Like ig that's why many regression or isekai stories are mid to me bc i dont find being able to completely change or adapt without setback is realistic or even interesting. Aside from external forces you're now fighting, where's the internal struggle? Where's the complacency because you thought you changed and had everything covered?
I love girl boss webtoons i do. But I'd love them even more if the character were less of a mary sue. I think straying from this "too cool for everyone" trope would elevate characters.
Ig that's why characters like Bakugo and Endeavor are the ones that intrigue the most bc (while i do not condone bullying or abuse) their character arcs are superbly written. Their redemption is filled with questions and nuances and just such complexity that makes people think.
Note: i haven't actually read this in a while and my opinion is mainly just based on the differing opinions of the comments section

I know the ex was totally in the wrong but i cant help but think how realistic it is. Many long term couples suffer from burnout. Like things are just not as they used to be at the beginning. The passion is no longer there.
But for some reason, when you break up, you can't help but think being with them bc all you can remember are the good memories and all you can imagine is the what if scenario of a happy life with them.

Then the guy you kinda hated/depended on started to let you stay in his house, paid off your debt, beat up the loan sharks who abused you, and most esp made your grandma smile.
