remember the flashback arc with the detective? it went like, “MC is in the area as a teacher and found a group of people experimenting on kids to create a superhuman? a different kind of human with higher mana levels? idk what was the goal but they were kidnapping them to create a new human. Arte (and the detective’s assistant) are both results of that group’s experiments and MC took arte under his wing
arte was heathcliff’s student when he took on the identity of james moriarty. arte’s sister got kidnapped for a robot experiment that involved putting human souls in machines to make war weapons. arte chased after his sister and moriarty tried to save both of them but they died. moriarty transferred arte’s soul into one of the humanoids and destroyed the rest. the humanoid that contain’s arte’s soul is now his sidekick arfa
They couldve just ended it at season 1 and an epilogue, this is a whole other genre now might as well read a new story
This seems interesting but the translation is so bad you can barely understand the story pls let a decent translation group redo this because theres no way im gonna spend this much energy trying to decipher the plot

It's good now that they have more chapter. But when it first uploaded, and when we need to wait for a week / chapter, it kinda boring because they're pretty slow with their story flow. But the story itself is good tho.
