I’m not defending anyone here but I can’t totally say these three are bad people. Although Jo is showing his possessive side but it doesn’t necessarily mean to condemn him or something. I think this story revolves around WHAT LOVE CAN DO TO A PERSON + their circumstances. Some do sacrifices, some are selfish, some are codependent, some are possessive, and so on. Although their trauma is not an excuse (shouldn’t be) to be a bad person, but it make us realize the reason for their action. I think that is what makes this story good, every character has their own complex, trauma, nature, etc.
For those people hating on Ian and says the most vilest things just cause he sleeps with anyone, please stop. Ian and Jo is not in serious rs, and Jo is aware of that. They’re both consenting, and no one is forced. Therefore, Ian can do whatever he wants, and shouldn’t be guilty of it. Idc what side you’re in, but Ian is not responsible for anyones feeling.
