The art's not actually that bad at all lol, just some large noses. I did, however, drop it at ch.2-3 because I cannot for the life of me understand why the guide was so upset that his esper was getting hurt and decided to just stop talking to him? Like if he's disregarding his life because he thinks the guide will just fix him up, that's one thing. Talk to him or get pissy about that part. I just get confused as to how that connects with the way he feels towards the guide? Like yeah, you've been guiding him and he's relying on you like you are his guide because you are. While reading I saw no emotional attachment building or bonding so like......if you apparently have no relationship outside of guiding maybe you should focus on that rather than out of the blue complaining that he just likes you for being a guide...... I dunno, I'm overthinking and probably reading things wrong. It's too late for logic.
Man, I really loved the story but I think they should have really just had a long conversation in the hospital or something to work out the misunderstandings like....it ended rather abruptly.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure how I feel reading a story where political marriages to uphold the aristocracy are praised in an implied way. At least it's not a continued character trait I hate so I might come back, give it another chance.

I don't know how to convey how absolutely angry this story makes me. Her feelings are completely ignored, her mother seems to have not a single ounce of care or respect for her daughters wishes, the ml is stupid(but I don't really dislike him,) not to mention the fl is spineless. Punch a dude! Speak up! These people are harassing you, or forcing you into a marriage with ZERO consent. Regardless of if she's starting to catch feelings, there was no consent. Omfg I'm losing my mind, and this goes on till 50 chapters? How much pointless drama is there!?
Overall, I might drop it. It's not my cup of tea so I'm stepping out. Good luck to the people who will read this, and I will never understand those who like it. To each their own I guess.
