idk why martin wants to succeed the duke and not let his father find out his younger sister is not his biological daughter, i’m sure he’s pretty fucking aware his father does not like his daughter whatsoever and not to mention her bitchy little attitude and all the problems she’s caused. for all the abusive actions she’s done to her servants she shall pay, plus why did the mother cheat in the first place? if you wanna protect your daughter it was best off running away with the lover you cheated on your husband with. martin was fine at first then this whole “i have to protect my sister” thing came in the way and it ruined his character and relationship with the female lead and for those of y’all calling the female lead an idiot and weak clearly read this shit with your eyes closed, she’s a nobody with pretty silver hair that has the only thing going for her (and her body) in a world where nobles rule and have their way with anyone that’s below status from them that’s why she lets them stomp all over her because she CAN’T do anything about it, she is not treated as a human hell even now the maids seem to be switching up on her. they were nice at first but they’re all bound to end up hating her in the end for the relationship she has going on with martin.
