honestly this was just an ok story to me, but reading that extra? man i lowkey wished the story's mc was ginga. i am a lover of devastating angst, so i think the dichotomy of his love/obsession with yuuzen vs. his weird relationship with kouetsu, was actually interesting.

and in my opinion, i think the part i liked about this dynamic is that i like a story where the gay mc pines after someone straight, but ultimately moves on. i like their dynamic enough in the extra, that in a better story, i think ginga would've moved on. and it wasn't like the actual mc yuuzen was forced to reciprocate their feelings. bc in all honesty, that's kind of my problem. it's like yuuzen is just expected to reciprocate their feelings, but i don't see why he would. he's a womanizer who clearly loves women and what? he just wakes up one day and falls in love with not one but TWO men?

idk i think i've just grown tired of these stories that make people just become gay, when i think an even better (and messier) story would be if they just got with someone else who is already gay
