I have read the novel, watched the donghua and now what’s uploaded of the manhua. If you are wondering what order is best to watch/ read I’d recommend reading the novel before anything else, but if you wanted you could definitely watch the donghua first, it’s practically exact to the novel the only difference is the novel goes in to more detail. The donghua ends around where chapters 30-35 would be so if you wanted you could watch the donghua and then start the novel around those chapters but I’d still recommend reading from the beginning. I love the art of this manhua but my only issue with it is that it leaves out so much important stuff, not just little details but HUGE plot scenes:/ so I’d definitely watch the donghua first then read the novel (but this can go either way) and THEN the manhua.I hope this helps anyone!!!! Plus I found the manhua a lot more enjoyable knowing the things from the novel that I know now
At first I was only going to read a chapter or two bc I thought it was plotless tentacle porn, but I actually stayed and continued for the plot and it was pretty good
