As far as I remember they never actually slept together, what I meant is that there was no penetration. Harold molested him a lot before his first heat, and Yujin was drugged when Winston saw them (it induced his heat and left him weak/confused) but even in that state and even if Harold's pheromones could be confused with Winston's, he kept asking for Winston and Harold for some reason couldn't take him in the end.
Eugene did not sleep with Harold, this is the biggest misunderstanding in the entire novel, Harold is an extreme alpha and he has a wife, Winston's mom, who is a beta and she cannot help Harold release his pheromones. But Harold found a child from his true love, Eugene, whom he brought home with him and, to put it mildly, raised him until he manifested as an omega so that he could sleep with him since Eugene has the same pheromone smell as his parent, Harold's first love. Basically, as far as I remember, Harold literally abused Eugene, made him strip naked in front of him and he touched him, literally abused him in that way, and when Eugene realized that Harold wanted to sleep with him when he had his first heat, he tried in every way to prevent it. In the meantime, Eugine and Wiston fall in love and have their first time together, that is, they were really in love until it happened that Harold called Eugine as if to mend the relationship and apologize like Harold (this was a scam) and Eugine naively falls for it. Harold offered him tea, which Eugine drank, and there was something in that tea that made Eugine in heat , and since Harold and Winston have almost the same pheromone scent, Eugine, in that frenzy when Harold started kissing and undressing him, thought it was Winston, so he laughed and said " Winston" with a laugh... but he didn't know that Winston was watching him at the door, Harold found him and told him to go, but still he couldn't sleep with Eugine...

Eugene will actually run away, I mean for a little while but he will still run away from Winston, who will only then realize what he has lost, I mean a lot of time will pass before it comes to him but it will still happen .... But in the meantime STUPID WINSTON WILL still think that Eugene is a whore and that he went off with some other guy. But anyway in the end we will get a happy ending again where they will have two little girls
