Y'all I've re-read this like 4 times, I always see comments on hating the romance arc saying it's too long or drawn out, but other arcs are about the same length. If you don't like it fine, but I will say there is a purpose for him falling in love. His teachers wanted him to experience more and especially because it'll make him a better person. Just as it was said, [How can you let him experience hardships, if he has never experienced the treasures in life] Raviel is a great love interest and she is badass, she knows he'll be gone for long periods of time and she just wishes for him to lean on her when things overwhelm him. Overall skim through it and just be happy the MC experienced some happiness of his own to carry the weight of the many tragedies of the tower.
This manhwa is great, great well written arcs for the main character who was depressed, desperate, and full of rage to develop and become well-rounded. That being said there is a romance arc, why? Idk but it adds to him, he needs to feel that love yes, you can have comradely love, yes, friends are a platonic love, but they solidified that feeling for him to have a person to experience things with him, that can remember or regress with him not just his teacher. It's a great plot and the love interest is amazing and not in your face like other "action" manhwas with harems or "romance", I've posted another comment saying this point, maybe skim it it's not a big chunk that will hinder you if you "miss" it, but don't drop it just because of that! Give it a chance!
